Chipotle has added chorizo to its menu in an effort to win back customers after last year's E. coli outbreak, according to multiple reports.
Chorizo, a spicy chicken and pork sausag, will only be available in select cities including New York City starting Wednesday, according to Fortune. The fast casual chain plans to introduce it nationally this fall.
Chipotle also recently announced plans to launch a loyalty program to reward frequent customers with free meals, said NBC New York.
The chain's sales were down by around 30% in the first three months of the year, NBC New York reported.
