New Hilton In Westchester Gets $1.4 Million Tax Break

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – A Maryland-based management company has been granted a $1.4 million Westchester County tax break on a Hilton Garden Inn set to open in 2016, according to lohud.com.

The $17 million project's owners -- an affiliate of Baywood Hotels, a hotel ownership and management company based in Greenbelt, Md. -- will deduct the money as part of an incentive package approved by the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency, or IDA, last week, according to the story.

The project on Livingston Street, which is part of the Rivertowns Square development, would include $4 million in off-site traffic improvements and create 200 construction jobs and 50 full-time jobs, lohud.com said.
