
Barbara Cervoni
Community AdvisorA lifelong Westchester resident, Barbara Cervoni is Director of Services and Communication for Support Connection, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides free support services to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Barbara is responsible for communications and media outreach to promote the organization's events and support services. She also is responsible for management and oversight of all service provision. Prior to joining Support Connection's staff in 2004, Barbara worked as Communications and Outreach Coordinator for CAREERS for People With Disabilities. As a licensed social worker with a Master's degree from Columbia University School of Social Work, Barbara spent the first 11 years of her professional career as a social worker in a variety of settings, where her experience spanned direct service, consultation, training and supervision.
