Armonk's Dave Barry, Pulitzer Prize Winner, Appearing At Local Library

ARMONK, N.Y. -- Armonk resident Dave Barry, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, will be making an appearance at the North Castle Public Library on Thursday, April 6.

The library, which announced Barry's upcoming visit, noted his local ties.

"Enjoy the wit and the wisdom of Armonk's very own Dave Barry, Pulitzer Prize-winning humorist and author of more than thirty books, as he returns to his home town, bringing us a memorable & entertaining evening."

The library says that Barry's visit will serve as a fundraiser for St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, which is also celebrating its 175th anniversary.

Tickets will be $50 per person, and $100 per person for the appearance plus a reception at 6 p.m. The main event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Whippoorwill Hall.

Barry will hold a book signing following the main event, the library added.
