The half-day event, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., will provide an opportunity for adult students and other job seekers to discover the opportunities available at BOCES, including information on a number of popular courses that can lead to successful careers in the automotive, construction/carpentry, electric, HVAC, plumbing and welding industries.
Attendees will see the kinds of hands-on training that students get in such programs by visiting the trade shops/classrooms located across the BOCES Valhalla campus.
The expo will give participants the chance to meet with several Westchester County employers, including A&M Heating and Air Conditioning, Abril Aire Service Corporation, Appliance Doctor, Express Employment, HVAC Tech, Inc., JP McHale Pest Management, Inc., Manhattan AC Company, Metro Aire, Inc., and more, according to a release from Southern Westchester BOCES.
