Fundraiser Tuesday For Pet Oxygen Masks For Westchester County

THORNWOOD, N. Y. -- A Tuesday fundraiser at The Barley House is an effort to raise money to buy pet oxygen masks for Westchester County fire departments.

Sponsored by Furbridge and The Barley House, the fundraiser will feature door and raffle prizes, 40-plus basket Tricky Tray, auctions and other events. 

The so-called Yappy Hour takes place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Barley House, 665 Commerce St., Thornwood. For more information on The Barley House, visit the restaurant's website.

The restaurant will also donate $2 to Furbridge for every "Labrador Beer" purchased.

All proceeds from the event will be used to by pet oxygen masks for Westchester County fire trucks. The masks cost about $90 each, Furbridge officials said.

This is the first fundraiser for Ardsley-based Furbridge, a community outreach and animal rescue organization. For more details, visit the Furbridge website.
