According to fire officials, the blaze broke out shortly after 10:30 p.m. at a Paine Avenue home. Dozens of firefighters fought the blaze until it was officially under control at around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Several firefighters sustained injuries while battling the blaze, but none of the injuries are life threatening. The two-story home, which was undergoing renovations, was vacant when the fire broke out. Cleanup crews were on site Wednesday; it remains unclear whether the house will be habitable.
