Both charities were founded by nine-year-old friends and tennis enthusiasts Sebastian "Bash" Oré of Tarrytown and Hiroshi Hebner of Scarsdale.

The Kids Serving Hope fundraiser featured an afternoon of fun and raised funds for the Children's Hospital at Montefiore's pediatric oncology department and various orphanages in China's Zhuhai region.

Sebastian began raising funds in 2014 to assist his maternal grandfather's cancer treatments.

“All I can say is that I miss my grandpa since he passed away from cancer," said Sebastian "So, in his honor I will continue to raise money to help kids BASH cancer!”

Hiroshi and sister Jacqui started Little Angels in China in 2014 after meeting orphaned children during a visit to china.
