Latin Dancing Champions Perform At Westchester Broadway Theatre

ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Six of the greatest Latin ballroom dance superstar couples in the world will present their exciting shows at the Westchester Broadway Theatre on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

You’ll see it all…from the dramatic Argentine tango to the sambas, rumbas, cha, cha, cha, mambo and paso dobles from other parts of the world.

Not only that, you'll see it performed by tri-State area residents (and Argentinians) Walter Perez and Leonardo Sardella. The Norwalk, Conn-based couple, who are partners on and off the dance floor, continue to perform to sold-out audiences throughout the world.

Also in the cast: cabaret and theatrical dance champions Shane and Shannon Jensen of Stamford, Conn. The Jensens are “mambo masters” who, so far this year, are undefeated in American rhythm events across the U.S. The Jensens are former members of Brigham Young University’s world-renowned.formation team and now teach at the Metropolitan Dance Center in Stamford.

Spain’s Latin champions Manuel Trillo and Anastasia Zhitova will also be showing off their dancing chops. Now teaching at Norwalk's Fred Astaire studio, the two debuted in this country winning the silver in the Virginia State Open. They are now recognized as New England’s overall top dancers after sweeping the professional Latin, Ballroom and Showdance titles at the recent FADS New England competition held at the Greenwich Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Other high-end performers from across the globe round out the show.Tickets are $80 per person (plus tax) and include a served dinner featuring your choice of six entrees.
