Mount Pleasant Library Plans A Busy End To March

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- The Mount Pleasant Library will be hosting a variety of events throughout the final week of March. 

Sunday, March, 23:

Theater: M&M Productions Acting Company, Inc. will stage "The Water Engine" by David Mamet. It will be held in the community room from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday, March 25:

Computer Workshop: Social media consultant Roni Weiss will offer free one-on-one computer help. Weiss can help with troubleshooting issues with social media.  He can help with anything from setting up a new Facebook account to looking at an overall business strategy on social media. From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the community room. If you are interested in attending, email roni@rwsocial.com with the topic you want to address.

Thursday, March 27: 

Art Lecture: Cherise Gordon will present a  four-session course at the library.  The course will take participants on a voyage to explore some of the world's greatest visual treasures.  Registration is requested. It will be held in the community room from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, March 30:

A Lecture on Urban Coyotes: Frank Vincenti will present “Urban Coyotes: Ecological Recovery or Conflict in the Concrete Jungle?” at the library.  This program will educate the public on common sense co-existence with an animal that has been villainized and how to better appreciate wildlife that can readily adapt to urban and suburban environments.  This program is for children and adults. From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the community room.
