Mount Pleasant Library Programs Feature Cooking, TV, Singer

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Mount Pleasant Public Library is calling all cooks for its new Cookbook Club starting Monday.

Local author Rinku Bhattacharya will lead a discussion of Valentine's Day food at the Mount Pleasant Public Library.

Local author Rinku Bhattacharya will lead the group in covering this month's topic of Valentine's Day food. Participants will bring a prepared dish and cookbook to the meeting.

Registration is required by calling 914-769-0548 or visiting www.mountpleasantlibrary.org. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Richard Knox will discuss the golden age of radio and television from 1935-65 on at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Singer-songwriter Marc Berger will perform on Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. He will share stores of traveling the American West and perform songs from his latest release, "Ride."
