Mount Pleasant To Focus On Areas In Need During 8th Annual Clean-Up Event

THORNWOOD, N.Y. -- The town of Mount Pleasant is hosting the eighth annual Clean-Up Day on April 23 at James M. Carroll Park in Thornwood.

Coffee and doughnuts will be served at the event, which is set to run from 8 a.m. - noon.

The clean-up efforts will focus on major areas of Mount Pleasant that are in need, including Kensico Road, the Saw Mill River Parkway entrance, Columbus Avenue, Broadway Field and Carroll Park.

Organizers say "a few hours of your time will make a world of difference."
