Pleasantville Celebrates Ncaa-bound Athletes

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pleasantville's student-athletes will be taking their talents across the country in the fall.

Pleasantville recently honored 8 seniors who will be playing college sports.

The students, who have committed to play at the Division III level will play or participate in sports like field hockey, football, lacrosse, softball, soccer, and wrestling.

The honorees and the schools they will attend are:

Jacqueline Bendeson – field hockey, Hartwick College

Lucas Cohen - lacrosse, Ithaca College

Erin Egan - soccer, Mount Ida College

Ian Esliker - football, Hamilton College

Vladimir Moise - swimming, SUNY Potsdam

Caitlin O'Neill - soccer, Ursinus College

Amanda Skopetos - basketball, SUNY New Paltz

Rachel Van Sise - soccer, SUNY Morrisville
