More Victims? 19-Year-Old Exposes Self To Teenagers In Brentwood, Police Say

A 19-year-old Long Island man is accused of repeatedly exposing himself to teenagers, and now police are investigating whether there are additional victims.

Inmar Escalante Diaz, of Central Islip, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 24, according to Suffolk County Police.

An investigation found that Diaz exposed himself to teenage girls on at least three different occasions in October 2023.

One such act reportedly occurred at around 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in Brentwood. Police said Diaz exposed his genitals to the victim while sitting in his car on Columbus Avenue and asked if she wanted a ride to school.

Additional incidents allegedly occurred at around the same time on Hancock Street on Thursday, Oct. 19, and on Pine Aire Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

Police found Diaz shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday in his car on Motor Parkway in Central Islip.

He is charged with three counts each of public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child. 

An arraignment hearing was expected on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Suffolk County Police are investigating the incidents and asked anyone who may have been a victim to contact the agency at 631-854-8352.
