Toddler Time: 10:15 a.m. The Mount Pleasant Public Library hosts a free toddler story time for children at its location in Pleasantville. 350 Bedford Road, Pleasantville.

Preschool Story Time: 11 a.m. The Mount Pleasant Public Library will host a free story time for preschool children at its location in Pleasantville. 350 Bedford Road, Pleasantville.

Saturday, Oct. 20

Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Pleasantville Farmers Market will be held at the Memorial Plaza parking lot, where fresh fruits, vegetables and other goods will be available for purchase. Memorial Plaza, Pleasantville.

Halloween Costume Swap: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pleasantville Recycles will hold a Halloween costume swap where residents can donate old Halloween costumes and/or pick up new costumes free of charges. The swap will be held at the gazebo in the Memorial Plaza parking lot. Memorial Plaza, Pleasantville.

Sunday, Oct. 21

Pet Adoption Day: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thornwood Self Storage hosts a pet adoption day with Pets Alive of Westchester. Dogs, cats and rabbits will be available for adoption. 950 Bedford Road, Thornwood.
