VALHALLA, N.Y. – Here is a list of events that are set to take place this week in Mount Pleasant, including government meetings and community happenings.
Monday, Sept. 3
Labor Day Closings: Mount Pleasant Town Hall in Valhalla will be closed Monday for Labor Day. It will reopen on Tuesday during its normal hours. 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla.
Tuesday, Sept. 4
Mount Pleasant Schools Open: The schools in the Mount Pleasant Central School District as well as the Valhalla Union Free School District will open on Tuesday.
Thursday, Sept. 6
Back-to-School Night: 7 p.m. Westlake Middle School parents will have a chance to check out the school and meet their children’s teachers at back-to-school night. 825 Westlake Drive, Thornwood.
Planning Board Meeting: 8 p.m. The Mount Pleasant Planning Board will hold a regular public meeting in the Town Hall courtroom. 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla.
