-Mount Pleasant Zoning Board of Appeals meeting: 8 p.m. The Mount Pleasant Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a regular meeting on Thursday at the town hall courtroom in Valhalla. On this agenda includes a proposal for a concrete porch for a property on 2 Pearl Street in Hawthorne, construction of a one car garage on 70 Palmer Lane and construction of a pool at 1A Summerland Lane in Briarcliff. -Town Cleanup Day: 9 a.m. The town of Mount Pleasant will hold a cleanup day on Saturday, April 14 that will begin at James M. Carroll Park. The event will clean up various areas of the town such as Kensico Road, the Saw Mill River Parkway entrance and Columbus Avenue. All are invited to attend and refreshments will be served.
