THORNWOOD, N.Y. – Here are some events planned around Mount Pleasant this weekend, including a soda-making class, farmers market and live music.

Friday, June 29

Floorworks Deluxe Course: 9:15 a.m.  The Mount Pleasant Recreation Department will hold a floorworks deluxe course on Friday morning at the Mount Pleasant Community Center in Valhalla with instructor Margaret Cunzio. Admission is $3. 125 Lozza Drive, Valhalla

Saturday, June 30

Natural Soda Course: 10 a.m. The Stone Barns Center will host a soda-making course with Brooklyn Soda Works to teach residents how to use herbs and fruits to make the carbonated beverages. Admission is $40. 630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills

Capture Effect live: 10:30 p.m. Capture Effect will put on a live musical performance at Victor’s Bar and Grill. The show is set to begin at 10:30 p.m.  500 Commerce St., Hawthorne.

Sunday, July 1

Farmers Market: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.  The Stone Barns will have fresh fruits, vegetables and other goods for sale at its farmers market.  630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.
