What's Happening This Weekend In Mount Pleasant

VALHALLA, N.Y. – Here is a list of events that are set to take place this weekend around Mount Pleasant, including story time and a theater performance.

Friday, July 27

Pre-school Story Time: 11 a.m.  The Mount Pleasant Branch Library in Valhalla will host a free story time for preschool children and their parents on Friday.  125 Lozza Drive, Valhalla.

Saturday, July 28

Insider’s Tour: 11 a.m.  The Stone Barns Center will give residents a behind-the-scenes look at its facilities Saturday on the Insider’s Tour.  Admission is $18 for adults and $12 for children.  630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.

Light The World: 12 p.m.  Little Village Playhouse’s young actors and tweens will put on their theatrical performances Saturday in the Summer Stage 2012 program.  The theme for the program is Light and Freedom of Choice.  Admission is $12.  600 Bear Ridge Road, Pleasantville. 

Sunday, July 29

Farmers Market: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  The Stone Barns Center will hold a farmers market on Sunday where fresh vegetables, fruits and other goods will be on sale.  630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.
