THORNWOOD, N.Y. – Here is a list of some events that are taking place this weekend in Mount Pleasant, including story time and a course on how to make ice pops.

Friday, Aug. 17

Toddler Time: 10:15 a.m.  The Mount Pleasant Public Library will host a free toddler story time at its branch in Pleasantville. 350 Bedford Road, Pleasantville.

Preschool Story Time: 11 a.m.  The Mount Pleasant Public Library will host a free story time for preschool students at its branch in Pleasantville. 350 Bedford Road, Pleasantville.

Saturday, Aug. 18

Make Your Own Popsicles: 2 p.m.  The Stone Barns Center will host a course on how to make your own ice pops using only fresh ingredients. Admission is $10. 630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills. 

Sunday, Aug. 19

Farmers Market: 1 p.m. to 4  p.m.  The Stone Barns Center will host a farmers market where fresh fruits, vegetables, and other goods will be available for purchase.  630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.
