WESTCHESTER, N.Y. – While she enjoyed the fireworks, picnics and celebrating with family, 9-year-old Irvington resident Brynne Norquist didn’t forget what the Fourth of July really means.
“It’s not about having fun, it’s so special how the people won the war for us,” Brynne said Wednesday evening. “It’s about how America did it and the people who served our country. Plus it’s America’s birthday.”
