Then head for 7-Eleven and grab a free Slurpee, yep, they are free Wednesday to mark the convenience store's 91st birthday on, of course, 7-11.

Available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all of its locations nationwide, this year's giveaway features a new yummy flavor, and a real throwback, the Cap'n Crunch's Crunch Berries, which is only available for a limited time.

There's no snag to the free deal. You just have to pour your own drink and if past years are any indication, wait in a long line to do so.

“Free Slurpee day may be the most anticipated day of the year for millions of 7‑Eleven customers and new customers alike,” said Raj Kapoor, 7‑Eleven senior vice president for fresh food and proprietary beverages. “7‑Eleven Day is a celebration, not only of our birthday but more importantly, of our customers."

While there drinking that sugary wonderfulness, you can throw away any thought of health and add a $1 Big Bite hot dogs, according to Kapoor. And, here's a tip, you can grab another $1 dog next week on July 18, "National Hot Dog Day."

In addition to the free Slurpees, -- 7-Eleven says they expect to give away nine million -- real 7-Eleven fans can receive other freebies by joining the 7Rewards Members. I know, "Members" makes it sound more complicated than it is. All you have to do is download the store's free mobile app via the App Store or Google Play, and you've just become a member.

Other promos for the week include:

  • July 12: Free 7-Select Pure Water with the purchase of any Bodyarmor sports drink.
  • July 13: Free Big Gulp with the purchase of a share-size Snickers.
  • July 14: Free popcorn with the purchase of a 20-ounce Smartwater.
  • July 15: Free Reese's with the purchase of a share-size bag of 7-Select gummies.
  • July 16: Free 20-ounce Coke with the purchase of any package of Cheez-Its.
