Louis and Debra Budetti, founders and owners of ERA Insite Realty Services, a full service, family owned and operated residential real estate firm headquartered in White Plains, have announced the addition of two Westchester brokerages to the firm; Pleasantville's Century 21 Haviland and Carlson Real Estate of Bronxville have merged under the ERA brand.

“In making this decision, I was looking for a company with a similar culture and professional perspective,” said Craig Carlson, former broker and owner of Bronxville-based Carlson Real Estate. "We're both family-owned businesses and share common philosophies." Founded by Carlson's mother, Marie, in 1972, the firm currently services the lower Westchester County market and has been a Coldwell Banker affiliate for the past 20 years. "This merger will give us a larger footprint in Westchester and the ability to provide greatly increased services to our clients," said Carlson.

Further north, ERA has merged with Century 21 Haviland, one of the most trusted names in Pleasantville real estate. Headed by Vincent D’Addato, who assumed leadership last year upon the passing of Rosemary D’Addato, his wife and founding partner, Century 21 Haviland has been an anchor in downtown Pleasantville since 1977. Area experts, many of the brokerage's agents boast decades of in-town selling experience. "The first time I met with Lou and Debra [Budetti], I knew this was the best fit," said D’Addato. "They are a family-owned business like ours, but one that can offer the agents so much more in the way of support and growth."

To complete the merger, ERA Insite will be moving its Mount Pleasant operation into the Haviland office space on Manville Road in downtown Pleasantville. In Bronxville, the Carlson office on Pondfield Road has been consolidated into ERA's current office on Kraft Ave.

Although mergers are normally a time of change and uncertainty for most businesses, both Carlson and D’Addato know ERA understands exactly where they're coming from. "There are many similarities," said D’Addato. "It will be a new but similar culture.”
