'A Country Christmas Party' will feature Lynn performing Christmas classics, as well as many of her own hits, and what she calls 'a few surprises along the way.'

"I am super excited about this Christmas show because we put a lot of work in," Lynn, a Lakeland grad and a Yorktown native, told Daily Voice. "We have been in rehearsal since the beginning of September to be able to include a ton of holiday music and to pull off a bunch of surprises.

"We are pulling out all the stops for this one and it's really going to be something special," she added. "I want to thank all of the great local talent and schools joining us as well, which has really been a lot of fun for me."

The evening is also a benefit for the Westchester County Marine Corp Reserve's "Toys For Tots."

Concert goers are asked to please bring a new, unwrapped toy donation to help Toys For Tots during this holiday season, and will receive a free gift in return. "We can't forget that this is a drive for Toys for Tots," Lynn said. "I'm so excited to be working with them. I'm offering a free gift to anyone who comes with a new, unwrapped toy for the drive that night in the theater lobby."

Local talent joining Lynn for Friday's Christmas show at the Paramount include: The Cortlandt School of Performing Arts, the Port Chester High Marching Band, the Westchester Ballet Center for the Performing Arts, Dance Expression, blues Hall of Famer Nick Bukuvalas, Ms. New England States Allyson Spellman, and saxophonist John Winton.

Lynn is also excited about pairing up with Texas blues-rock legends ZZ Top next July in France. The country star has included the ZZ Top hit 'Tush' in her set for some time.

The pairing came about as a result of Lynn's successful tour in the north of France last spring.

"This past May I was fortunate to be asked to headline one of the largest country music festivals in France," Lynn said. "Our performance was very well received, and this show came out of that one. I'm so excited because I'm a very big fan. We play 'Tush' in all of my live shows.

"I am thrilled," Lynn added of sharing billing with the Texas legends. "I am a really big fan. They are just so cool. This opportunity has made my year."

And Lynn believes ZZ Top fans will embrace her music. "I hope so," she said. "I definitely have a rock edge in my music so I think it will resonate well with their audience."
