Pleasantville Community Synagogue Names New Hebrew School Principal

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Galit Sperling has been named the new principal at the Pleasantville Community Synagogue's Hebrew School, Rabbi Mark Sameth announced.

Sperling has taught the synagogue's B'nei Mitzvah students, worked with Hebrew School students and has minored in Hebrew and Judaic studies at New York University.

Sperling currently works at the director of education at the Little Village Playhouse in Pleasantville and runs a summer theatre camp at the playhouse for kids ages five to 18.

The synagogue encourages residents to meet Sperling at their open house and Shabbat services on June 14.
