Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving In Mount Pleasant, Rivertowns, Yonkers

WESTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Are you looking to enjoy Thanksgiving Day without having to cook up a feast or clean up a mess?

Local restaurants have got you covered, but don't forget to make a reservation! Here is who is open or catering for Thanksgiving Day:

Restaurant Owner Mike Casarella said having Thanksgiving Dinner at his two restaurants, Goldfsh in Ossining and Casa Rina in Thornwood, has been an annual tradition so there would be no exception when it came to his newest establishment, Stone Manor 101.

“The Thanksgiving turkey dish has always been our number one seller,” said Casarella. “Although Stone Manor is a steak house, Casa Rina is Italian and Ossining is seafood, people still like to be traditional." Click here for Stone Manor 101’s Turkey Day menu and here for Casa Rina’s.

It’s easy to be thankful for living in the Rivertowns with the spectacular views of the Hudson River and Palisades at Half Moon. The eatery's Thanksgiving Day Menu starts at $58 per person and $28 for children. This doesn’t include a 7.37% sales tax or 20 percent gratuity.

Appetizers include Chipolte Caesar Salad, Butternut Squash Bisque and Blue Point Oysters Rockefeller. The Butter Roast Turkey entree is being served with sage giblet gravy, while the Holiday Carving Platter comes with turkey, ham and prime rib along with pecan sweet potatoes, whipped potatoes, cornbread stuff, toasted almond green beans and a homemade cranberry chutney. Click here for the menu.

Rini’s Restaurant & Wine Bar is currently taking reservations for Thanksgivng Day between noon and 8 p.m. The prix fixe menu is $28.95 per person and includes soup or a salad, turkey, dessert and coffee. They will also have their regular menu available. Click here for more information.

Red Hat will be serving a prix fixe Thanksgiving Dinner from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at $67 per adult and $30 for kids. This includes a starter, entrée and dessert. Appetizers include hearty dishes like housemade rillettes, a classic French duck and heirloom pork confit that comes sliced with picked red onions, green peppercorn mustard, cornichon and baguette toast.

The New England organic heritage turkey entrée includes holiday stuffing with sausage, dried fruits and pine nuts, in addition to haricots verts, smashed sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and a traditional gray. Spiced pumpkin tea cake is on the menu for dessert. Click here for the menu.

Burke’s will be open from noon until 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and is serving a price fix menu at $25. The menu includes a free drink, choice of soup or salad. The main course choices are a turkey dinner, cod Florentine or a 10 oz sirloin steak. Dessert includes apple or pumpkin pie, or cheesecake. Click here for details.

The ever-elegant X20 is offering a four course $70 prix fixe menu from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with such gourmet delights as ginger-crusted venison, roasted Hudson Valley duck, and locally sourced turkeys. Click here for reservations.

Choose from a host of a la carte entrees, many in the $20 to $30 range and served with an Italian twist. Reservations from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The restaurant is also taking pick-up orders for its deep fried turkeys. Order by Nov. 25.
