Mostly, this takeout/delivery eatery (with seasonal outdoor tables come spring) specializes in half pound Angus beef burgers (never frozen), BBQ pulled pork, hand cut French fries, and empanadas, the latter of which are the star attraction. They come with their own special fillings such as chipotle chicken, sloppy joe, sweet potato pie, and more, in addition to vegetarian, vegan, nut and gluten free options.
License 2 Grill is owned by Erica and Ben Gendler who took over last February and try to oblige customers in ways big and small.
"We have people who come in for specific items like the hot dogs they remember from when Charchael's was in this location," said Erica Gendler. "We also have buffalo wing enthusiasts who appreciate our unique house blended sauces and scratch-made dressings. Plus, we have the hand cut boneless chicken lovers and the healthier salads and wheat wraps, although lately the empanadas have been taking over."
Added his wife: "It's great to be near the post office, directly across the street from a free parking lot and our lovely neighbors on either side of us who have been so gracious and supportive of our family business."
