TV's 'Homeland,' Hulu's 'The Path' Film In Valhalla, Mount Vernon

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Showtime's "Homeland," staring Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin filmed scenes on Thursday, Aug. 25 at the Westchester County Corrections Facility in Valhalla, according to On Location Vacations.

The political thriller, about to start its sixth season takes place several months after the previous season, with the main character (Danes) living in Brooklyn and working at a foundation whose efforts are to provide aid to Muslims living in the U.S.

Scenes for "The Path," a series by Hulu featuring Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy, is also shooting in Westchester, specifically at Haven Studio in Mount Vernon. The show, which shoots a lot in Rockland County, portrays members of a fictional religion known as Meyerism.
