Elizabeth Ciulla, 93, Longtime Valhalla Resident

VALHALLA, N.Y. – Elizabeth H. Ciulla, of Valhalla, died April 23 at her home. She was 93. 

A longtime resident, Ciulla was a parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla. 

She was born May 15, 1918 in New York City, the daughter of Edward and Ida Ulrich Marron. On Oct. 19, 1947, she married James V. Ciulla. He predeceased her on Nov. 18, 2002. 

Ciulla is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth M. "Betty" Ciulla of Valhalla; a son, James K. (Carla) Ciulla, of Mahopac, N.Y.; a sister, Alice Ciulla; and two brothers Thomas and Arthur Marron. Her brother, Edward Marron, predeceased her. 

Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at Holy Name of Jesus Church. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
