VALHALLA, N.Y. Maria Fata of Valhalla died May 30 at Calvary Hospital in New York. She was 85.
Fata was born June 12, 1926, in Consenza, Italy. She was married to the late Vincenzo Fata.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph Fata of Hawthorne, John Fata of Valhalla, and Frank Fata of Valhalla; a sister, Fiora Urrico of Pleasantville; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum in Hartsdale.
