This weekend, there are plenty of things to do with your kids in Pleasantville. Whether it's recreation, food or fun, here are some suggestions:
1. Take your kids to Nannahagan Park. There is a playground with swings as well as basketball courts for older kids. Lest we not forget the Pleasantville Pool is part of the park. It is free to residents with an ID card and $10 for a visiting guest.
2. Visit the Pleasantville Farmers Market. There are childrens activities at the Market as well as food that appeal to kids, like Go-Go Pops from Cold Spring and plenty of chocolates from Raaka Chocolate in New York City.
3. Stop by Westchester Table Tennis Club. If your children play table tennis or have interest in the sport, come to the Weschester Table Tennis Club on 175 Tompkins Avenue. It costs $7 for a child and $10 for an adult to play a day of table tennis.
4. Visit Pleasantvilles three other parks, Parkway Field, Roselle Park and Soldiers & Sailors Park for a game of catch or a soccer pickup game with friends.
