Scott Fritsch and Jack McIntyre both achieved the prestigious rank in early June, according to a press release.
Fritsch will be a senior at Valhalla High School in the fall, while McIntyre will be a senior at Fordham Prep.
The teens, best friends and Scouts since kindergarten, each completed a community service project during their quest to become Eagle Scouts.
Fritsch’s project replaced an old observation deck at Rye’s Edith G. Read Wildlife Sanctuary.
McIntyre created a reflection area at the Valhalla United Methodist Church, in the honor of longtime member Bill Spencer.
