Staff members from all around Westchester Medical Center gathered recently and wore red to show their support this month for the American Heart Association's national awareness campaign promoting awareness of heart disease and stroke.

According to the American Heart Association one in three women die of heart disease and stroke each year. This month, Westchester Medical Center along with the American Heart Association encourage everyone to join their movement to help end heart disease and stroke in women, because it’s not just a man’s disease.
