WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Members of a multi-agency task force arrested 20 suspects on Tuesday morning for their alleged connection to heroin trafficking throughout Westchester County.
The task force was formed last year between the Department of Public Safety, several police departments throughout Northern Westchester and the FBI. To date, the task force has made more than 125 arrests, including the 20 arrested Tuesday morning.
County Executive Rob Astorino will be joined by law enforcement officials for a press conference Tuesday afternoon at the Department of Public safety in Hawthorne to further discuss the results of the year-long probe.
