33 Kids Safe After Mt. Pleasant Bus Mishap

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. - Thirty-three young people were assisted off a bus that veered off the road on Route 120 in Mount Pleasant Saturday morning.

No one was injured but the bus came to a stop on a hilly area and emergency personnel were called to the scene to assist the children on to another bus, a spokesperson for the Mount Pleasant Police Department said. 

The bus was transporting the youngsters to a sporting event. Route 120 was closed for a short time until the bus was towed.
