Another Assisted Living Plan Proposed In Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Developers are set to propose an assisted living center on the site of the United Methodist Church in Pleasantville, according to the Northern Westchester Examiner.

An assisted living development similar to the Benchmark Senior Living proposal could be built on the United Methodist Church lot.

The proposal comes one year after the village board shot down another bid to build a similar facility on the same lot, the Northern Westchester Examiner said.

The exact size and scope of the project is not known, but is said to be similar to the 87-unit facility that was shot down last year, the Northern Westchester Examiner reported.
