MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. - During this holiday season, many churches throughout the hamlets of Mount Pleasant will hold special Christmas services on Saturday and Sunday. These services include midnight mass along with candlelight services and all are welcome. Below is a listing of schedules for the various Mount Pleasant churches. Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne will hold Vigil of Christmas services on Saturday, Christmas Eve. The services will be held at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and midnight. On Christmas day, the church will hold services at 7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 a.m. For more information, call 914-769-0030.
Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Valhalla will hold Christmas services Sunday at 7:15 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. For more information, contact the parish at 914-949-2323.
Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawthorne will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7:30 and 11 p.m. On Christmas day, the church will have a Christmas celebration at 10:15 a.m. For more information, call 914-769-2546.
The Hawthorne Reformed Church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 8 p.m. on Saturday. The church will hold a Christmas morning worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Call 914-769-2920 for more information.
