PELHAM, N.Y. – Construction will cause several lane closures on the Taconic State Parkway Monday night, according to a press release from the New York State Department of Transportation.
The parkway will be closed southbound from NY 134, Kitchawan Road, to the Saw Mill River Parkway from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The press release advises caution for drivers travelling on the highway through the work zone during those hours. Traffic control devices, signs and flaggers will assist drivers in the area. Fines double for those who speed through a work zone. Two such violations could lead to a suspended license.
