Cuomo Downplays Terror Threat; Rides Subway

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. --  Gov. Andrew Cuomo took a ride on a New York City subway from the World Trade Center to Penn Station Thursday to show constituents that the city's mass transit is safe from terror attacks, according to capitalnewyork.com.

Cuomo spent some time as a straphanger in the wake of unconfirmed reports of terrorist plots on subway systems in the U.S. and Paris.  

Cuomo told reporters that there was no credible evidence that New York's subways were a target, capitalnewyork.com reported.
