MOUNT PLEASANT, N. Y. -- The developer of a proposed $1.2 billion biotech center next to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla says the value to the community of his development should warrant tax breaks from state, county and local governments, according to lohud.com.

John Fareri of Fareri Associates told lohud.com that the medical and biosicence center will provide plenty of financial relief in terms of tax benefits from the office complexes, stores, restaurant, and hotel on the vacant property in Valhalla's Grasslands Reservation. He'll be seeking some tax breaks from the state, Westchester County and Mount Pleasant, which has jurisdiction over the land, lohud.com reports.
