NEW CASTLE, N.Y. -- A stretch of Campfire Road in New Castle between Hardscrabble Road and Hemlock Hills has reopened after it had been closed more than 12 hours due to a large tree that had fallen across the road Thursday morning.

NEW CASTLE, N.Y. -- A stretch of Campfire Road in New Castle is closed between Hardscrabble Road and Hemlock Hills due to a large tree that has fallen across the road Thursday morning.
Wires are also down.
New Castle Police said in a 9:30 a.m. advisory that Con Edison has been notified and is responding.
