MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. - An automobile struck a utility pole on the Chelsea Bridge in Hawthorne Saturday, knocking out power to 115 homes.

Mount Pleasant Town Supervisor reported the power outage before 2 p.m. Saturday.

"No injuries were reported," Maybury said in a statement. "But there are approximately 115 homes without power. The bridge is closed to traffic while (electric) crews work in the area."
