Father Charged In Fatal Crash Involving Pleasantville Daughter Appears In Court

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Michael Ware of Eastchester, who was charged in connection with the fatal crash of his SUV driven by his unlicensed daughter, made his first court appearance in a Pennsylvania court Tuesday, reports lohud.com. The accident killed three teenage boys.

Ware is charged with involuntary manslaughter, endangering the welfare of children and other crimes, according to the report.

On Aug. 30, Ware’s 15-year-old daughter from Pleasantville lost control of his Suburban near the Pocono resort community of Wallenpaupack Lake Estates. The SUV flipped several times, killing three 15-year-olds, Cullen Keffer, Shamus Digney and Ryan Lesher.

A preliminary hearing on the evidence will be held in January.
