  • The Westchester County Board of Legistlators wants to know why the Department of Social Services decided to shut down the Valhalla Residence Shelter, according to News 12 Westchester. 
  • Travis Sherer, a Pace University adjunct professor has been named to Gov. Andrew Cuomo's Task Force on Ending AIDS. 
  • In an effort to raise awareness and combat local hunger, Briarcliff High School’s Food for Friends group collected donations to bring to the Elmsford-based Food Bank for Westchester in time for the holidays.
