'Foxcatcher' Premieres At Jacob Burns In Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Two area residents are part of the talent behind "Foxcatcher," which is being released on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at the Jacob Burns Film Center.

"Foxcatcher" stars Channing Tatum, Steve Carell, Mark Ruffalo, and Vanessa Redgrave.

Filmmaker Bennett Miller and screenwriter Dan Futterman grew up in Mamaroneck and Larchmont and, according to Wikipedia, have been friends since 7th Grade. The two have collaborated on other projects together including "Capote" with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
