Hawthorne State Police Make DWI Arrest In Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. -- New York State Police arrested a Newburgh man and charged him with aggravated driving while intoxicated in Yonkers on Saturday, Dec. 28, police officials said.

Joseph Hamilton, 61, had his vehicle facing southbound on Grassy Sprain Road, which is a northbound one-way street, State Police said. 

After investigation, Hamilton provided a positive breath sample which yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .29 percent, according to State Police.

Hamilton is due to appear in Yonkers Court on Friday, Jan. 10, police officials said.
