Housing Proposed For 165 Wooded Acres In Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. — An assisted living center and 116 homes are proposed on 165 acres of wooded land owned by the Legion of Christ in Mount Pleasant, reports examinernews.com.

Residences would be built in 48 half-acre lots and 68 quarter-acre lots, the article says. Land for town recreation facilities would be donated by White Plains-based developer Baker Residential.

The property would have to be rezoned and the developer will be invited to future Town Board meetings, the story says.
