Mason Struck, Killed By His Own Van In Greenburgh

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- A Yonkers mason was struck and killed by his own van in Greenburgh on Wednesday, according to Greenburgh Police.

Hopeton Samuels, 70, was working in the area of 14 Teramar Way, police said. 

A witness observed the van rolling down the hill and strike a retaining wall in front of 15 Teramar Way, according to police. 

According to the Medical Examiner’s office, the victim had extensive injuries to his back and shoulder area.
