Medical Marijuana Easing Pain Of Sickness In White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A stage 4 ovarian cancer patient who has purchased medical marijuana from the White Plains dispensary said she hopes the drug will ease her suffering during her remaining days, according to News 12.

Brittany Barger, who is battling stage 4 ovarian cancer, is one of the first people to purchase medical marijuana in White Plains.

Brittany Barger was one of the first people to purchase marijuana from the Vireo Health dispensary, according to News 12.

The 27-year-old said she does not expect the drug to save her life, but that she feels better and has more of an appetite after smoking it, according to News 12.
