Mount Pleasant Hosts Charity Walk For Ronald McDonald House

VALHALLA, N.Y. -- The Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson will hold its third annual Footsteps for Families Charity Walk at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 9:30 a.m.

Proceeds from this event will benefit families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley, the temporary home-away-from-home that keeps families close to their children, who are hospitalized due to serious illness or traumatic injury.

The grand marshal for this year's event will be Joshua Lopez a 3-year-old cancer survivor.

Preregistration is $10 or participants can register the day of the event for $15. Children under 12 are free. Participants can register online by clicking here.

The Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center is at 100 Woods Road in Valhalla.
